BOSTnet is pleased to offer the Intercultural Center for Research in Education's Sunflower Afterschool Science Discovery Program. Training and materials for this program are being offered FREE this school year to 50 programs in the City of Boston!

We know that when programs offer well-organized, intentional activities that engage and challenge children their quality improves. BOSTnet is pleased to offer the Intercultural Center for Research in Education's Sunflower Afterschool Science Discovery Program. Training and materials for this program are being offered FREE this school year to 50 programs in the City of Boston!

    * Build your programs capacity to offer hands-on science activities
    * Build your children's awareness of environmental issues and nutrition
    * Build your capacity to offer high-quality project-based learning
    * Sunflower curriculum is VERY child- and staff-friendly
    * $500-$1000 of free training and materials for your program
    * Endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education

The Sunflower Afterschool Science Discovery Program was developed specifically for children in grades 2-4. It is also fully bilingual and highlights the accomplishments of Latino scientists. Participating programs will commit to using 3 units through the school year covering the following areas: Human Body, Air and Trash.
