Courageous Sailing seeks a Site Director to oversee and facilitate the Dorchester/UMass sailing program. Working closely with the Youth Program Director, the Site Director will act as Courageous’ primary liaison between the Courageous Dorchester staff, the Charlestown office staff, the UMass Sailing staff and neighboring yacht clubs and also serve as Dorchester’s Step 2/Learn-to-Sail Leader. In this role, the Site Director will supervise and coordinate the day-to-day execution of this curriculum. In this head-instructor role, the site director must be the kind of person who can create a fun, energy-filled and friendly work environment, while simultaneously ensuring that staff maintains Courageous’ standards for sailing education, proper boat care, and safety.
