The member at IBA will serve as a Community Organizer. The role of the Community Organizer is to conduct bilingual outreach and facilitate neighborhood communication that results in individuals and families joining together for a stronger Villa Victoria, while also strengthening connections to the rich resources of the greater South End and Lower Roxbury communities, as well as the rest of the city of Boston.

LISC helps CDCs assist in the revitalization of underserved neighborhoods across America by providing financing and technical know-how to CDCs in order for the groups to develop affordable housing, spur commercial investments, create jobs and expand other services that improve the quality of life in the low-income communities where they live and work.
